Used Phone Systems Is It Legal For An Employer To Track Phone Calls Made By An Employee If A Phone System Is Used For Clocking In

Is it legal for an employer to track phone calls made by an employee if a phone system is used for clocking in - used phone systems

My work uses a 1-800 number and nature of the clock outside of work. He wanted to know if it legal for the company to verify the number of the brand. Moreover, it is legally allowed to monitor workers, equipped with mobile phones with GPS work?

There are many legal ways to know what numbers you called your number, the more obvious the caller ID, which almost all of them. There are other legal means. If your company does not get to do something illegal to information while they are entitled to it.

Your employer has the right to control its' own equipment.
There is nothing illegal about it.

I assume your company has policies on what works and what does not and what is expected of employees. If you have questions, you should check with your company HR department and a copy of company policy. If no policy on this, you can use your company as a project.

Employers have considerable freedom to follow their employees. The conclusion is that if you do not like what your employer does not always go ahead and seek another job or their own business. Nobody has the right to a particular job and the problem is that unless you work for yourself,always under the rules of another person.
